It really isn’t a must win for the Bills, but if the Bills want any chance of making the playoffs, a win would be huge this Sunday. The Bills are 7-5 with four games remaining. 11-5 gets you in the playoffs, but 10-6 is not a guarantee in the AFC. The Bills are in Denver this weekend to take on the Broncos and Peyton Manning. Do the Bills have a chance? Absolutely. With the defense the Bills have, they will always have a chance, but it all comes down to Kyle Orton and the offense. This offense has the ability to put up points with its weapons.
Buffalo is coming in on a two game win streak in which they averaged 32 points, while the defense allowed just 13. Granted it was against the lowly Jets and the Browns, some could say the Bills front 7 are the best in the game. As much pressure as Kyle Orton and the offense will be under, this defense will have to produce and force some turnovers against one of the best quarterbacks ever in Peyton Manning. Tight end Julius Thomas still remains a question mark, but Manning has plenty of weapons including emerging running back CJ Anderson.
The offense is going to have to come through if the Bills want to return to Buffalo with a 8-5 record. Like I mentioned earlier, the Bills have playmakers. Robert Woods has come alive as of late as teams have been focusing on rookie Sammy Watkins, and the former Trojan has been taking full advantage of it. The running game has been stagnant, but with Fred Jackson getting healthier, looks for the Bills to rush the ball and keep Manning off the field.
This isn’t going to be easy, but the Bills have a chance. All they need to do is watch this clip of former Bronco Mark Schlereth. Let’s fucking go Buffalo!
Bills win 31-27!!!
