Yahoo – The NFL gives certain players preferential treatment, says one star quarterback’s fiancee, and that’s more clear now than ever after last week’s incident involving Aaron Rodgers and Ndamukong Suh.
Kelly Hall, who is engaged to Detriot Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, says Suh’s reputation contributed to the attention that play received.
In a post to Instagram, Hall quoted former NFL official Mike Pereira, who claimed the NFL only fined Suh $70,000 for stepping on Rodgers because Suh is a high profile player.
Cry me a river. When your husband wins a playoff game, or better yet, when he beats a team who finishes the season with a winning record, then you can go to Instagram to vent your frustration. That’s right, Stafford is 3-31 against teams that finish the season with a winning record since he arrived in the Motor City in 2009. Lets face it, Stafford has all the talent in the world and can throw it with anyone, but like a young Tony Romo, he chokes in the big moments and throws way too many interceptions. So Kelly, my advice to you is stay hot, and stay off social media for the next couple of weeks.
