Falcons vs Packers; NFC Championship Preview

This game has the two hottest quarterbacks in the league right now. The numbers prove it. Aaron Rodgers is the most talented quarterback in the NFL, while Matty Ice has proven that he needs to be considered for a top 5 spot in the league. Aaron Rodgers has been here before and has a ring to his name, while Ryan still has many doubters out there.

The Packers are dealing with injuries on both sides of the ball. Wide receivers are injured, even though Jordy Nelson is expected to play. The Packers secondary is also shredded and that is not a good thing going up against Julio Jones and the Falcons weapons. For Atlanta, the running duo of Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman have been lighting it up both on the ground and through the air. While it is a two man job, they have numbers similar to the best running back in the league in Le’Veon Bell.

The Packers open up as a 6 point underdog. That is money in the bag! I have the Packers winning this one. You can’t go against Aaron Rodgers, especially after what he did last weekend. Rodgers is at the peak of his game, and while they may have had a four game losing streak, none of that fell on the shoulders of their quarterback. As I mentioned above, still have my doubts on Matt Ryan. Matty Ice is on the cusp of being one of the best in the league, but until he wins a big one, he will always be on the outside looking in, just like Joe Flacco.

Packers 38 – Falcons 31

Guess today will be that one time. Sorry Iain. What type of name is that?

Mike Vick is not walking through those doors Falcons fans…
